Why I post Naked Selfies Online

No it’s not what you’re thinking (sorry if that’s what you were thinking!) … You’ll not find me scantily clad online (although That might get me more followers on Instagram! 😉

No.
What I mean is that every selfie (and pretty much every other picture you see) on my social media is filter free and foundation free. The only make up you’ll find me in is my brow gel and mascara (unless I’ve kept up my lash and brow tints) and occasionally eye liner.

99.9% of the time, My skin is Buck naked. Starkers. In the buff.
Hashtag foundation free, hashtag no filter, hashtag no make up selfie….

Why? Because in a world where Photoshop is the norm, I want to be an example of what real skin looks like!
I want you to see that real people get pimples, real people have freckles and real people get dark eye circles from too many late nights.

Yes my skin is normal, just like yours, I have good days and bad days and I know that the bad days are usually from my own doing: a binge on junk food, too much sun, not enough water, too many late nights, not having a regular facial.. Our skin is a reflection of how we live our life.

I am real. What you see is what you get. There are more than enough examples of fake out there. Just flick through any magazine, through any online site and all the faces and bodies starring back at you are digitally enhanced to the point where skin isn’t even skin any more!!
I’m here to show you what healthy happy skin can look like- and even healthy happy skin has it’s days!!
